Grant Receipents in Each Region Must Submit Proposal

The city administration instructs regional heads to submit construction proposal for the process of grant disbursement. Later on, the proposal is planned to be made a​​s a study to find out grant distribution.

Such grant is only in form of receipts in the city. But if it is received by the region, it will be re-audited

"The amount of grant is about Rp 100 billion," said Saefullah, City Secretary, at City Hall, Friday (9/19).

Saefullah disclosed that the proposal would be accommodated in the Technical Management Unit (UPT) and then be reviewed by the team to find out the need and relevance of proposal concerning the availability of infrastructure in the local area. Not only that, its proposal must also have a positive impact, especially for flooding and traffic congestion problem in Jakarta.

He acknowledged, requirements that must be met is quite difficult because of the provided funds is a lot. But after the fund is disbursed, it will be re-audited by the state auditor as the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) or Financial Management Body (BPKD).

"Such grant is only in form of receipts in the city. But if it is received by the region, it will be re-audited," he uttered.

As planned, the grants for eight regencies/cities surrounding Jakarta would be proposed in the 2015 City Budget Draft (RAPBD).

"We use e-budgeting. If our planning is right, it can proved in the end of 2015 in the form of budget surplus (Silpa)," he finished.
